Certificación e implementación de sistemas integrados de gestión basados en las normas ISO 9001 e ISO 45001 ¿son imprescindibles en las empresas en Colombia?

Abstract

El siguiente escrito es un texto argumentativo, basado en gestión de calidad, seguridad y salud en el trabajo, el cual enmarca inicialmente la definición de las normas ISO y la certificación de cada una en el contexto nacional, seguidamente, se describen algunos sectores certificados en estas guías, para luego, enunciar los beneficios de la implementación de un Sistema Integrado de Gestión basado en las normas previamente mencionadas, y por último, concluir qué tan imprescindible es la certificación e implementación de éstas en dichas empresas.

Por consiguiente, el propósito de este documento radica en determinar si es o no imprescindible para las empresas colombianas implementar y certificarse en las normas ISO 9001:2015 e ISO 45001:2018.

La metodología utilizada fue la búsqueda bibliográfica, a través de palabras claves relacionadas al título y a los objetivos establecidos, haciendo uso de herramientas como bases de datos de la universidad de Boyacá, revistas, repositorios y páginas web oficiales como la ISO.

Finalmente, se concluye que, sí es imprescindible la implementación y certificación de sistemas integrados basados en las normas de gestión de calidad, seguridad y salud en el trabajo, cuyo fundamento se basó en los conocimientos y las experiencias impartidas durante el desarrollo de la formación académica, la consulta de fuentes secundarias y el análisis de los sectores que están avalados por los organismos de certificación colombianos. Por ende, se recomienda a las organizaciones determinar su alcance a implementar y certificar, para posteriormente diseñar el sistema, adaptarlo y evaluarlo.

The following text is an argumentative text, based on quality management, safety and health at work, which initially frames the definition of ISO standards and the certification of each one in the national context, then, some sectors certified in these guides are described, and then, the benefits of the implementation of an Integrated Management System based on the previously mentioned standards are stated, and finally, it is concluded how essential is the certification and implementation of these standards in these companies.

Therefore, the purpose of this document is to determine whether or not it is essential for Colombian companies to implement and become certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.

The methodology used was the bibliographic search, through keywords related to the title and the established objectives, making use of tools such as databases of the University of Boyacá, journals, repositories and official web pages such as ISO.

Finally, it is concluded that it is essential to implement and certify integrated systems based on quality, safety and occupational health management standards, based on the knowledge and experience gained during the academic training, the consultation of secondary sources and the analysis of the sectors that are endorsed by the Colombian certification bodies. Therefore, it is recommended that organizations determine the scope to be implemented and certified, and then design, adapt and evaluate the system.
